Heidi II moves from visit notes into clinical follow-up tasks

Heidi says its new release can prepare charts and handle follow-up tasks across connected systems. The company describes review controls and says the release is unavailable in the EU and UK.

Why it matters: A better note helps with documentation. Completed follow-up work could remove another source of delay. The useful comparison is what gets finished safely, including tasks the AI cannot complete.

Heidi raises 340 million dollars and says it now covers 2.8 million patient visits a week

Heidi said on 23 September 2026 that it raised 340 million dollars, made up of a 100 million dollar Series C led by Blackbird and a 240 million dollar growth investment led by General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund, with Phoenix Court, Point72 Private Investments and Headline also taking part, at a stated valuation of 900 million dollars. The company says it supports 2.8 million patient visits every week across 190 countries and 110 languages, more than 175 million visits and 67 million clinical hours in total, and that its annual recurring revenue went from 1 million to 50 million dollars in two years. It names NHS Midlands, Metro South Health, Health New Zealand and Beth Israel Lahey Health as partners, and says the money funds work beyond documentation while medical judgment stays entirely with the human practitioner.

Why it matters: The structure of the round is the part to read. Only 100 million dollars is equity in the usual sense; the larger 240 million comes from a fund that typically finances sales and marketing growth, so this is money to go and sell rather than money to go and build. For a health system weighing a multi-year documentation contract, the useful signal is the named public health partners in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, because those buyers run long procurement and do not sign lightly. The revenue jump from 1 million to 50 million dollars is impressive and also means most customers are new, so few of them have been through a renewal yet.
