Healthcare AI Stocks: Which Companies You Can Actually Buy
Most healthcare AI companies are private. Only 11 trade on their own stock, and 6 more belong to a public company that does.
That difference decides what your money buys. Buy the wrong kind and you get either nothing to buy or a whole company you did not mean to own.
This page sorts every company in our directory into three groups, with its ticker and owner where it has one, so you know which kind you are looking at before you spend time on the wrong one.
The Three Ways a Healthcare AI Company Can Be Owned
- Its own stock: 11 companies. The company trades on an exchange itself. Buying the shares buys that company.
- A public parent: 6 companies. A bigger company that trades owns the healthcare AI business. Buying the shares buys the parent and everything else it owns.
- No public stock: 54 companies. We found no current public listing, so there is nothing to buy on an exchange today.

Private Healthcare AI Companies With No Public Stock
Private means we found no current public listing. It says nothing about how good a company is or whether it will list one day.
Why Owning the Parent Is Not the Same as Owning the Company
DeepHealth is part of RadNet. Nuance DAX is part of Microsoft. Isomorphic Labs is part of Alphabet.
Buy those shares and you own a slice of the whole parent, including everything that has nothing to do with healthcare AI. A strong year for the AI business can disappear inside a parent that earns its money somewhere else.
What a Private Healthcare AI Company Means for You
Private means we found no current public listing. It does not say the company is small, weak or about to list. It means there is no stock to buy today, so funding news and the company's own announcements are the best first-hand source on how the business is doing.
A company can also leave the stock market. BenevolentAI is listed as private after a 2025 delisting, and the news story on its merger and delisting explains what happened.
Healthcare AI Stocks and Ownership: What This Page Does Not Do
Nothing here is investment advice or a view on any company's prospects. The page shows who owns what, taken from each company's own profile.
It carries no prices, because prices move every minute. Open a profile for the dated market snapshot where the symbol is supported, then use the exchange or the company's investor page for the final check.
Where to Go Next
Each of these goes further than a ticker.
- The healthcare AI stock guide explains why the stock list and the FDA clearance list barely overlap, and who holds the most cleared AI products.
- The company market map shows where each company fits in care and research.
- The company directory has a profile for every company on this page.
- Company news tracks dated developments, including deals and delistings.
- The FDA-cleared AI directory shows which companies hold clearances, whether they trade or not.
This page is information, not investment advice, and it is not a view on any company's prospects. Ownership details come from each company's profile and carry the date they were checked. No prices appear here because prices move constantly. Use the exchange or the company's investor page before you make a financial decision.
