Cadence joins an FDA pilot for its hypertension software, not a clearance
Cadence announced on August 13, 2026 that its HypertensionOS software was selected as the second participant in the FDA pilot called Technology-Enabled Meaningful Patient Outcomes, or TEMPO. Cadence describes HypertensionOS as prescription software as a medical device with AI-assisted features that support clinician-supervised medication management. The announcement says that taking part in the pilot does not constitute FDA approval or clearance of HypertensionOS, or an FDA determination about its safety or effectiveness.
Why it matters: A pilot seat gives Cadence a direct line to the FDA while real-world data is collected, which is worth tracking if you follow which remote care tools regulators are watching. It does not say the product has been cleared, and Cadence says so itself. For a health system the useful question is what data the pilot will produce and when, because that data, not the pilot seat, is what a review committee can act on.

FDA Clearances on Record
No clearance is linked in this directory. That is not automatically a mark against the company. Some products support the people doing the work instead of reading a patient image or signal themselves.
